Meet the Team

John Holliger

I have been a competitive shooter since 1980, holding NRA classifications in HP Rifle, Conventional Pistol, SB Rifle, SB Rifle Prone, and Silhouette Pistol. I have been doing gunsmithing of one kind or another since about the same time. In 2000, I started White Oak Precision. One of the seemingly never ending problems for me was obtaining parts that were of the quality that I wanted to use in my uppers. Parts were bought from several sources, handguards here, bolts there, receivers over there. In some cases I had parts made to my specifications because I was not satisfied with what was available. I observed the need for a reliable source that custom gunsmiths and discriminating shooters could go to and be assured of getting only the very best quality parts available. White Oak Armament is the result of that need. Since then, White Oak Armament has built a reputation for offering top-quality workmanship and exceptional service. As we enter our second decade of business I continue to be in the shop every day building uppers, talking with customers and suppliers, and ensuring that every White Oak product exceeds expectations.
