Bid Now: Coolest Camaros At Our Virtual Spring Auction

Whether modern, classic, or restomod, these five incredible Camaros are looking for new homes through our one-day online spring auction that starts now.

To rival the ever-popular Ford Mustang, General Motors came out with a mid-size performance car we all know and love as the Chevrolet Camaro. With 1967 being its introductory model year, the Camaro officially went on sale on September, 29, 1966. Four generations were built before an eight-year production hiatus began after the 2002 model year due to decreased sales numbers. Revived again for the 2010 model year, the new Camaro model came out swinging and hasn't stopped since. Produced through many generations that spans decades, its rivalry with the Mustang still holds strong today.

Here we have five of our coolest Chevy Camaros that will be up for bids at our single-day Motorious Spring Classic & Collector Car Online Auction today (April 14th, 2020) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Register to bid here and let the fun begin!

Which one is your favorite?

1969 Chevrolet Camaro Restomod

<img src="auction-1969-camaro-restomod.jpg" alt="A sinister 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Restomod powered by a supercharged LSA V8 engine">

This sinister 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Restomod is plenty different from when it first rolled off the factory assembly line. Not just a classic Camaro with some mean cosmetic upgrades, this bad boy will let everyone know that something sinister lurks below upon start up. That's right, a modern supercharged LSA 6.2-liter V8 engine complete with all the necessary components work together to produce a pavement-pounding 556-horsepower and 580 ft/lb of torque. Power is shifted to the rear wheels by a sturdy Tremec 6-speed transmission via a Monster triple-disc clutch. Making up the rear is a Ford 9-inch with a posi-traction differential and steep 3.70 gears.

Sitting on a fully upgraded chassis, this Camaro was given a ground-up restoration and now wears a glossy 2-stage black paint finish on its exterior with the frame painted to match. The mini-tubbed body is equipped with a ZL2 cowl induction hood, LED parking lamps, a body-matched bumpers, custom deck spoiler, modernized Rally Sport tail lamps. Even more, custom TMI upholstery has been installed inside, and the cabin stays nice and comfortable thanks to modern air conditioning. With plenty of other modifications inside and out, this menacing 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is ready to add a ton more fun to someone's life.

1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Coupe

<img src="auction-1979-camaro-z28.jpg" alt="A stunning 1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 coupe">

Another bowtie-adorned classic heading to virtual auction is this stunning two-owner 1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Coupe that is numbers matching down to its paint combination of black exterior over a Carmine Red vinyl interior. One would be hard-pressed to find a finer example on the market than this '79 Camaro Z/28 Sport Coupe. Showing in immaculate shape in all aspects, the odometer on this reads just 42,543 actual miles.

Under the hood is the original 350-cubic-inch V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission. This old-school Z/28 is also equipped with power steering to easily navigate those turns, and the power disc brakes quickly bring everything to a halt. Interior features include air conditioning, full rally instrumentation complete with tachometer, and electronic rear defrost. On all four corners sit a set of color-matched 15-inch Z/28 Rally wheels wrapped with Goodyear Eagle GT raised white letter radial tires. The only modern example on the list, this high-performance 2013 Chevrolet ZL1 Camaro is also heading to our spring auction. When the ZL1 model was first introduced, it was the quickest Camaro to be offered at the time with a small-block LSA V8 engine that generates an insane 580-horsepower. Fast straight out of the factory gates, the car's stats speak for themself. The ZL1 Camaro can sprint from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4 seconds, reaches a top speed of 184 mph, dominates the quarter mile in the 11.9-second range with both transmission options, and has lapped the Nürburgring with a time of 7:41.27.

This beautiful Camaro ZL1 had three owners and has accumulated just over 12,000 on the clock. The exterior is slathered in rare Rally Yellow and shows in excellent shape without chips, dents, or dings. Other exterior highlights include a set of ZL1-specific 20-inch forged aluminum wheels wrapped with Goodyear Eagle F1 rubber with plenty of tread, an Expel clear bra over the entire front clip, and it was given a replacement front splitter. This 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 convertible is the perfect for the modern enthusiast, so don't miss the opportunity to bid on this factory powerhouse through our Motorious spring auction on April 14th.

Concluding our list of cool Camaros heading to our spring auction is this restored 1968 Chevy Camaro RS/SS that shows better than new. One of just 11.8 percent of the '68 Camaro lineup with a Matador Red finish, this beautiful example was given contrasting white RS stripes and a black soft top in new condition. The RS package on this car includes hidden headlights, revised taillights with back-up lights under the rear bumper, RS badging, and exterior bright trim. Inside this classic Camaro is a much-desired interior complete with back and grey Houndstooth bucket seats in mint condition. An AM/FM radio with Bluetooth is ready to play your favorite tunes when connected via the hidden USB and auxiliary ports.

Tucked inside the engine bay is a period-correct L34-spec 396-cubic-inch V8 engine mated to a 4-speed transmission. With a stout 350-horsepower to hunt down Mustang prey, this Camaro was given plenty of chassis upgrades to handle it. Added rumble and performance comes from a Magnaflow exhaust system, and it comes with power steering and power front disc brakes.
