About this Event

This course will provide a guide for creating a project forecast by incorporating key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying potential risks and implementing best practices that will strengthen your performance. The outcomes of the course will help project leaders expand their field team’s understanding of project expectations and KPIs along with the importance of communicating decisions and progress relative to those indicators.

Learning Objectives:
After this session, attendees will be able to:

  • Develop expectations for project performance by converting the estimate to a project budget to analyze the project’s expected performance.
  • Establish the key performance indicators (KPIs) that will be used to measure project progress and success.
  • Identify potential contract and/or performance risks (warning signs).
  • Recognize the importance of importance of job cost analysis and including a detailed review of the project such as drawings, specifications, task, workflow and time management within the job. All in an effort to produce an accurate project forecast.
  • Implement best practices along the path of the project, such as kick-off meetings, update/progress reports and debrief/lessons learned.

Level & Prerequisites:
This is a group-live program at the Intermediate Level. No prerequisites or advanced preparation required.

CPE Information:
Earn 2.0 CPE credit in the field of Accounting.
