Making a Difference Far Beyond the Classroom

This summer, Christopher Korn '24 traveled to Bolivia to deliver 3D-printed prosthetic hands to a woman and child in need. Alongside Middle School Engineering and Computer Science Chair Willy Orozco, Chris was featured on NBC6 in June, as the pair discussed the 3D-printing prosthetics project. Student Blog: Scotland

This summer, the Prep Drama Department performed in Scotland at The Fringe Festival - the largest arts festival in the world. While there, students performed John Buchan’s "The 39 Steps" four times at the Central Hall venue and had the opportunity to put on a Fringe street performance. Bahamas Relief Efforts

The Gulliver community has come together to support and aid in relief efforts for our friends and neighbors in the Bahamas who were affected by Hurricane Dorian. Donations of critical supplies were collected at both the Academy and Prep campuses, and students, parents and faculty organized, packed and delivered the items to various donation centers. Bowling Family Fun

The varsity bowling team hosted its annual Family Fun Night at Bird Bowl last week. For the third year, Raider bowlers invited their families to join them at the lanes for an evening of team bonding and even a little friendly competition. Kay-Ramos Brothers Host Water Polo Camp in Nigeria

The summer of 2019 was an exceptional one for dozens of swimmers in Abuja, the Federal Capital City in Nigeria, as they were introduced to a new and exciting sport. With the encouragement from family members and friends, Kamal, Hayaat and Awwal Kay-Ramos '21 hosted an official water polo camp at The Regents School Abuja, teaching the fundamentals of the sport to Nigerian youths. Sundancers Showcase New Choreography

Last week, the 2019-20 Sundancers presented their new choreography for this year’s competition season at the annual Dance Team Intensive Showcase. Under the direction of Prep Performing Arts Department Chair and Dance Director Gerri Barreras, dancers portrayed talent, grace and finesse demonstrating this year's Dance Department theme “F.I.R.E.” - Fiercely Ignited Radiantly Inspired.

Save the date and mark your calendars for the Prep Dance Department's holiday recital, which will take place on December 8, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Miller Drive Campus Auditorium.

The Greatest Performance

Primary and Lower School faculty and staff members got together for a little fun recently, filming their own rendition of "The Greatest Show," a popular hit from the musical-turned-motion picture, The Greatest Showman.
