Day 1:

Arrive in Brockville and visit the Brockville Railway Tunnel a historic tunnel that was converted into a pedestrian walkway. Take a leisurely stroll through the tunnel and admire the colourful light displays.

Day 2:

Start your day with a hike or bike ride along the Brock Trail, a scenic trail that runs through the heart of Brockville. The Brock Trail is a paved path that extends along the St. Lawrence River and passes through the town toward the north side of Highway 401. Perfect for hiking, cycling and jogging. Go at your own pace, take in the scenic views and enjoy the benefits of refreshing waterfront air.

Time to set aside: 30mins–2hrs

Have lunch at the 1000 Islands Brewery and enjoy a variety of comfort food dishes and a wide selection of beer.

Afterwards, visit the Brockville Museum, which offers a glimpse into the history of the area. Be sure to check out the exhibits about the local industry and the role that Brockville played in the War of 1812.

Enjoy dinner at the Mill Restaurant, a waterfront restaurant that offers stunning views of the St. Lawrence River and delicious seafood dishes.

Finish the evening at the Brockville Arts Centre, which hosts a variety of performances and events throughout the year.

Day 3:

A must-visit destination in South Eastern Ontario, Thousand Islands National Park provides visitors with a full range of adventures—from exploring the islands by kayak or canoe and trekking through the wilderness trails to cycling and fishing. Allow yourself to be captivated by this historic National Park and experience one of the region’s ultimate outdoor destinations. The park offers unparalleled outdoor opportunities while seeing wildlife such as deer, fox and a myriad of bird species is extremely common—make sure you have your camera ready to snap some unbelievable pictures! 

Time to set aside: 2hrs–3hrs

Arrive in Gananoque and check into your accommodations.

Enjoy dinner at Riva Restaurant, a contemporary Italian eatery that serves fresh pasta and wood-fired pizzas.

Finish the evening at Thousand Islands Playhouse, which hosts a variety of theatrical productions throughout the year. Be sure to check out the schedule and purchase tickets in advance.

Day 4:

Take a cruise along the St. Lawrence River. Aboard City Cruises and enjoy a scenic tour of the river and the surrounding islands.

Time to set aside: 1hr–2hrs

Have lunch at Laverne’s Eatery, a casual eatery that serves delicious sandwiches and salads. There’s also The Purple House Cafe that serves wood-fired pizza.

Finish the afternoon at The Gananoque Inn & Spa which offers a complete resort experience with a variety of spa services including full body massages, manicures and pedicures, facial treatments and waxing services. Choose from individual or couple’s packages and let the pampering begin.

Day 5:
